The Trip Committee is please to announce a fall 2025 trip.  If you are interested in this trip and do not have a room sharer, please do not hesitate to register, and when you find a partner we will reimburse you the difference in the cost.  We are planning to take two buses – in order to confirm tickets for the show and for the rooms we need confirmation of members participating 60 days in advance, so please register and pay as soon as possible.

 

Wednesday October 15, Thursday October 16 and Friday October 17, 2025

TRIP TO TORONTO, ST JACOB’S MARKET, AND OKTOBERFEST EVENING.

 

Price is per person, includes all taxes, and gratuities.  For 3 days and 2 nights –

Double occupancy per person is $564.  Single occupancy is $766.

We will travel to Toronto with a stop at the Bradford Greenhouse Garden Gallery.  Followed with early dinner and attendance to the performance of ‘Tell Tale Harbour’ at the Royal Alexander Theatre.  We will be staying for 2 nights at the Hilton Mississauga Meadowvale.

On Thursday morning we will spend a few hours at the St Jacob’s Market, take a return train ride to Elmira then travel to Breslau for an Oktoberfest dinner at the Schwaben Club.

On Friday we head home with a visit, for a few hours, at the Vaughan Mall.

Please be aware that you are responsible for 2 meals at your own costs.  Lunch on Thursday at St Jacob’s Market and lunch on Friday while at Vaughan mall.  All other tickets, meals, accommodation, gratuities, are included in the cost of the trip.

All trip participants must have a Club name tag and be wearing it while travelling,

 1) once you register, the trip fee must be paid within one week by cheque to East Ferris Golden Age Club.

2) if you are presently a non-member you will need to join the club with a $25 membership fee which includes a name tag.

3) Refund policy – reimbursement will only occur if your seat is filled by another club member on our waiting list.

4) if cancellation is early enough and there is no waiting list and there is no one filling your seat, and if we are able to cancel the room, and the meals, those costs can be reimbursed.

5) the cost of:  bus fare, tickets for shows/activity that are required to be purchased when the trip is planned will not be reimbursed unless the seat is filled by another member.

6) At any time, if you have an issue, or require assistance of any kind, please approach a member of the Trip Committee.
